Guidance will be provided on how an understanding of research impact can support career development, how impact can be embedded into grant applications from the outset and effectively evidenced throughout a project's lifecycle, and how opportunities for the adoption of research outcomes into practice can be maximised

Vera Barron is Research Impact and Engagement Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she works with University leaders and researchers across STEM disciplines to plan, evidence and strengthen the impact of their work.
